I bought this PULSE Showerspas 1013 for my daughter's house. They had a single lever shower control that was leaking badly and was old and obsolete. The tub surround was ceramic tile that would have some damaged tiles after the retrofit of any new arrangement. This unit mounted so that all of the holes in the existing tiles were completely covered by the flat surface of the tower unit. The plumbing and installation instructions were easy to understand and the unit works flawlessly. In order to mount the unit so that the tub filling spout was not too high, the shower head would have been a little low for my son-in-law who is quite tall. We solved that problem by using one arm from the previous shower head as an extension to the arm that came with the unit. It fit perfectly without any alterations and allowed the shower head to be raised near the ceiling of the tub/shower area. We especially like the ability to use all of the outlets at one time.
