This is the worst Kohler product I have ever purchased. For the amount of money it cost to purchase and install this product, I expected it to be spectacular. My son has Spina Bifida and as such cannot walk. I was willing to pay the money for this when I saw it because it seemed like such a phenomenal idea and I figured that since Kohler was such a reputable company they wouldn't sell anything that was substandard. Boy, was I wrong!! The mechanism that raises and lowers this door that requires less than 5 lbs of pressure is nothing more than a lame pulley system with bricks on the other end of the pulleys! On top of that, the cables that connect the bricks to the door regularly slide off their track or get caught in the door. There's lots of dangling wires and drains that also tend to get in the way in the operation of this bath.
I have had this bath for months and it still does not work. First, the entire thing didn't work so my husband called Kohler only to be informed...
