This Kohler Symbol line of fixtures is perfect for a Transitional look, a nice blend of modern and traditional. The fixtures (shower head, tub spout and valve handle)are extremely heavy. But be warned the valve trim cover (the rectangular plate around the handle) is very thin. Actually I had originally purchased this set at a local plumbing store, but this trim cover was dented and the store had trouble getting a new one. So after waiting a month I got a refund and ordered it online. There were numerous sellers all under the Amazon umbrella, so I just selected the one with the lowest price and hoped for the best. It all worked out and I received the set in less than a week and no signs of dents or other damage.

Turns out this was a blessing in disguise, because the online set was $300 less than what I had paid at the local plumbing store. A huge price difference and the set had no flaws like the one at the plumbing store. One word of caution is to be 100% sure you want...

If the unit you recieve includes the bushings/reducers for the copper pipes in the wall check them or have your contractor/plumber/installer check them and replace them with parts purchased in America made for use in the United States. Only the older models include these European parts.

In Europe they do not use what we refer to as teflon plumber's tape. They use a hemp tape that is a heavier duty product and requires the bushings/reducers have dimples on them to hold it in place. In the USA those dimples on the bushings/reducers will cut right through the "teflon" tape and cause leaks in your pipe system. ATTENTION!!! This is a great shower kit, loved it when it came in. Heavy, not much plastic. HOWEVER!!!! The description on Amazon tells you that you need to also buy the 3371 and 3600 valve, which we did. Scheduled the contractors and tilers for our bathrrom remodel thinking we had everything we needed. What it does not say is that you need TWO of the 3600 valves. Lost two entire days waiting for other valve, it was not available locally. Moen really sets you up on this one, the shower kit already pricey, but add the cost of three more valves in and it's debatable whether it's worth it or not. Hope this saves someone else the hassle we have had with this unit.
