I was shocked at how expensive shower doors are, but decided to take a chance on the Dreamline, which was very inexpensive compared to most other options. I did not want to pay to have it installed, so I decided to do it myself. I am just a normal corporate type of guy - am not a contractor or anything, but can do basic home improvements. This is one of the more advanced projects for my skill level.

The product was shipped via Roadway Express. This had to be specially scheduled with the local delivery dock - they did not contact me, and I had to call them twice (after they failed to show up). Anyway, that was the worst part of the whole process - but it worked out.

Review : Steer clear, so many problems
I wish I'd never bought this door. Be prepared to receive components that are the wrong size, poorly fabricated and don't fit together. You'll also find it impossible to install if your walls are the least bit out of plumb or if, at any point, your opening is slightly narrower or wider -- even by an eighth of an inch -- than the door's dimensions. The contractor on our bathroom remodeling project, who has many years of experience (he's also a certified home inspector), declared it a piece of junk. The worst part is, neither Dreamline nor the online merchant I bought it from, MainFaucet.com, will take it back. Frankly, I'm hoping this review will prompt them to reconsider (and, in Dreamline's case, improve their quality control!).
