Review : Excellent product for the money - decent instructions, very pleased
I recently moved and wanted to replace my old "gold" shower door with a nice new brushed-nickel finish "frameless" type door. I was shocked at how expensive shower doors are, but decided to take a chance on the Dreamline, which was very inexpensive compared to most other options. I did not want to pay to have it installed, so I decided to do it myself. I am just a normal corporate type of guy - am not a contractor or anything, but can do basic home improvements. This is one of the more advanced projects for my skill level.
The product was shipped via Roadway Express. This had to be specially scheduled with the local delivery dock - they did not contact me, and I had to call them twice (after they failed to show up). Anyway, that was the worst part of the whole process - but it worked out.
The actual product has a very thick glass - sturdy and heavy. The brushed nickel parts are of good quality - my only very minor complaint is they almost look pink-tinted,...
