Review : Solid quality, but with a couple drawbacks worth mentioning
First of all, yes the quality lines up favorably with the price. And yes, it is beautiful in person and we are happy with the purchase. We would recommend this product.
With that said, on to the specifics:
- Comes assembled. This is nice, and the fit and finish is good. Of course, that also means that the very heavy countertop and sink aren't detachable for moving. Hefting 200 awkwardly shaped pounds up two flights of stairs was not a highligh of the installation for us :).
- Countertop and sink are beautiful and high quality. As far as we can tell the counterop came from a single piece (other options we looked at had multiple pieces laminated to get to thickness). Stone color was consistent with the close ups you can find on the company website -- definitely in the beige/brown spectrum with no pink shading, which was our target.
- The base is made of solid wood. It is a beautiful stain, again consistent in color with the photos...
